Devsew is more than "just a website". It is built on CakePHP utilizing a fully extensible base with custom plugins, themes, and a robust security module. Primarly, the website exists as a database to export both a online catologue and a PDF version for printing and distribution. We worked with Devsew to create a website that solved a real-world physical and logistics problem: mainting a large database of parts and simultaneously updating both print media and the company website. The website combines a simple, intuitive Administration interface with automated processes to produce consistent, accurate data across two mediums.
